Panattoni Europe has announced the lease of three warehouse facilities totalling 42,526 sqm by Raben Logistics Polska. The investment will be carried out at Panattoni Park Grodzisk III. The developer has also recently started the construction of a BTS logistics centre for Sanden Manufacturing Poland in Polkowice, comprising approx. 6,500 sqm.

Raben Logistics Polska, part of the European Raben Group, has decided to take out a lease on three warehouse buildings totalling 42,526 sqm. Two neighbouring facilities, which will serve as warehouse space, will take up respectively: 20,800 sqm of which offices will be located on 900 sqm and 12,019 sqm with 300 sqm of warehouse space. The third building will be a cross-docking facility, offering approx. 9,500 sqm of space. Its office space will amount to 1,400 sqm. The investment will also feature 214 car parking spaces and 65 truck parking spaces. At full build-out, Panattoni Park Grodzisk III will comprise approx. 70,000 sqm of modern warehouse and office space.

Construction works on the investment for Raben Logistics Poland are scheduled to commence in late September / early October 2016, and to finish in the second half of December 2017. Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director Panattoni Europe, comments: “The facilities will become part of Panattoni Park Grodzisk III, a complex located near the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Junction on the A2 motorway and close to the planned bypass of Grodzisk Mazowiecki. It is a strategic location for clients who focus on providing logistics services in the Warsaw market as well as nationwide.” The transaction was mediated by BNP Paribas Real Estate, represented by Katarzyna Pyś-Fabiańczyk, Head of Industrial & Logistics Department, Central and Eastern Europe.

Panattoni Europe has commenced the construction of a BTS logistics centre for Sanden Manufacturing Poland on 15 September 2016. The investment for Sanden Manufacturing Poland, a subsidiary of a Japan-based holding company, totalling nearly 6,500 sqm – which can be further expanded by another approx. 3,300 sqm – will be erected in Polkowice at the Legnica Special Economic Zone.

The facility will be divided into a warehousing section with 6,211 sqm and office and staff facilities with 268 sqm. The warehouse will fulfil orders for the largest automakers, including Volkswagen, GM, Ford, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover and McLaren. It is anticipated that the facility will be commissioned in January 2017, and the first shipments will leave the warehouse the following April. The transaction was mediated by the international advisory firm Colliers International.
