After an investment of €40 million, NEPI Rockcastle opened Shopping City Satu Mare, which hosts 85 stores, including the first Carrefour hypermarket in the city.

“Shopping City Satu Mare is the 18th commercial centre of NEPI Rockcastle’s portfolio in Romania, a figure that supports the fact that we are the most active real estate investor in the country. We have developed this project based on the needs of the inhabitants of the entire region and created a mix of shops, restaurants and leisure options, which we believe will change their lifestyle,” says Marius Barbu, head of Asset NEPI Rockcastle Management.

Shopping City Satu Mare offers a total rentable area of approximately 29,000 sqm on two levels, in addition to 1,000 parking spaces, of which 600 are at the upper level, accessible by an outside ramp. Customers will also have 2 electric charge stations and a bus stop in front of the shopping centre.
