The European warehouse property developer MLP Group is to build a BTS facility for Hart Logistics, a Polish provider of logistics and transport services. The lease has been brokered by Profi-Home of Poznań.

Hart Logistics has signed a contract to lease space at the MLP Poznań West logistics centre. Under the contract, the tenant will receive about 10,000 sqm of space, with some 9,600 sqm designated for warehousing, and the remainder to be fitted out as office space and staff amenities.

The facility will be built meeting the BREEAM certification requirements, and will feature advanced unloading docks as well as broad parking and turning areas. Solar photovoltaic panels will be installed on the roof of the facility, and there will be shelters for bicycles, electric vehicle charging stations and insect hotels on the park premises.

The construction work has just started, with delivery of the finished project scheduled for the first quarter of 2022. The facility will be customised to the tenant’s exact specification (built to suit).

Hart Logistics is a specialist provider of freight forwarding and logistics services, operating domestically and on the international market. It can handle a wide range of orders, spanning road haulage, airborne, sea and rail freight services. Warehouse logistics is to be an important addition to the company’s existing portfolio. This is what Arkadiusz Owczarek, CEO of Hart Logistics, says about the development and constant improvement of the logistics process: “Our mission has always been, and will remain, the provision of superior logistics services. The business has been gathering speed and – since we have no intention of slowing down – the next natural step is to expand our portfolio to include contract-based storage of goods. In line with the motto ‘Your destination is our way’, the Hart Logistics staff’s daily ambition is to assure Clients of our unwavering focus on the value of their goods throughout every stage of the logistics process. Hence the idea to implement logistics solutions than would surpass the standard market practice in terms of efficiency. Realising that we represent our Clients and our approach is a factor affecting their business image, we give priority to the management of INFORMATION. In launching warehouse space rental, Hart Logistics has also decided to offer its Business Partners excellent handling performance at competitive prices based on a system of branded semi-automated, induction-guided trucks. The innovative solution includes a smart support system for faster, easier and safer work”.

The contractor responsible for the warehouse facility at MLP Poznań West is W.P.I.P.

“Recently we have seen booming demand for modern warehouse space in the region of Poznań. Thanks to the centre’s great expansion potential, we are able to offer the Client a facility tailored specifically to its business needs. We specialise in the delivery of advanced built-to-suit facilities, which means that our Clients always receive exactly what they need and require,” said Agnieszka Góźdź, Sales Director at MLP Group S.A.

“Given the staged development assumption and space supply constraints seen generally across the market, the lease was not an easy one to conclude. However, thanks to the focused dedication and commitment to finding constructive solutions to various issues that emerged on both sides, we managed to work out a deal satisfactory to both Hart Logistics and MLP Group,” said Adam Kultys, the owner of Profi Home.

MLP Poznań West is the distribution centre located on the western side of Poznań, at the S11 expressway and only 7 km from the A2 motorway and S11 junction. The centre focuses primarily on e-commerce, logistics, distribution and light industrial production companies. Ultimately, it will offer approximately 133,000 sqm of warehouse and office space.
