The MLP Group has handed over a ready for use, 24,700 square meter warehouse facility to Żabka Polska S.A., located in the MLP Gliwice logistics park.

Żabka Polska, the owner of the Żabka and Freshmarket store chain has moved into the MLP Gliwice logistics park. Pursuant to the terms and conditions of the contract, MLP Group handed over this new 24,700 square meter facility for occupancy. Nearly 23,800 square meters of its space will be used for warehousing purposes while roughly 4 thousand square meters will be used as cold storage and freezers. The remaining space will be used for social and office purposes.

“The owner of this convenience store chain is our first large tenant to move into MLP Gliwice. We are already in the process of performing more contracts for this logistics center. We are convinced that its attractive location and the professional service offered will draw more entities interested in investing in this region”, underscored Piotr Krawczyk, Manager of BTS Projects in MLP Group S.A.

MLP Gliwice is situated in Szałsza in the commune of Zbrosławice, a mere 6 km to the north of the center of Gliwice. MLP Gliwice is located at the Zabrze Zachód road interchange connecting the A1 motorway (Tricity-Lodz-Czech border) and national highway 78 (Gliwice-Katowice International Airport in Pyrzowice). Ultimately, three Class A buildings with a total area of 65,000 square meters will be built in this logistics park.

Optimism prevails in CEE real estate as geopolitical risk looms large

by Property Forum
CEE's real estate market enters the second quarter of 2026 in a mood of measured confidence. According to Property Forum's survey of nearly 200 real estate professionals from across the region, the majority expect either stable but selective deal flow or a moderate recovery in transaction activity over the next 12 months. Residential and logistics assets lead on risk-adjusted appeal, and Poland remains the undisputed long-term growth leader. Yet beneath the cautious optimism, one concern towers above all others: geopolitical tensions, cited by nearly two-thirds of respondents as the greatest threat to the market.
