Marriott Hotels, the signature flag of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 hotel brands, has opened Tirana Marriott Hotel, the first Marriott Hotel in Albania. The hotel is located next to the multi-purpose complex of the National Arena and within walking distance to governmental offices, international institutions as well as key historical and cultural sites.

“We are excited to open the first Marriott Hotels property in Albania in the emerging capital city of Tirana. This newest addition to the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio in Eastern Europe brings travellers the possibility to enjoy our signature service and connecting moments,” said Pankaj Birla, Area Vice President, Eastern Europe, Marriott International. “The arrival of the first Marriott Hotels property to Albania reinforces our footprint in this dynamic part of Europe.”

Featuring 155 spacious guestrooms - including 24 suites – the Tirana Marriott Hotel will cater to both business and leisure guests. The modern 24-storey building offers panoramic views from all rooms.

Tirana Marriott Hotel also welcomes the first M Club Albania. Designed to emulate a residential-style living room, the 24-hour lounge is the perfect space to relax, socialize or meet for business. The M Club is open to Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite Marriott Bonvoy members and guests staying on executive floors, offering complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments, and evening cocktails.

The multi-functional Events Hub offers 1,900 sqm of meeting space equipped with the latest technology, including nine meeting venues and a Ballroom capacity for up to 400 people seated.

“I am thrilled we will now have an opportunity to provide travellers arriving in Tirana with our trusted global standards and heartfelt service. With a combination of heartfelt traditional Albanian hospitality, we are creating a great reason to unlock this new destination,” said Levent Cengiz, General Manager of Tirana Marriott Hotel. “Tirana is the center of the political, economic, and cultural life in the country and is a growing destination both for holiday and business guests. We are looking forward to welcoming our first guests in the heart of the city.”
