Makita has expanded its leased space at the MLP Pruszków II complex to approximately 18,000 sqm, nearly doubling its previously occupied area, in a deal brokered by Cushman & Wakefield. The tenant is expected to move into the new part of the facility in mid-2026.

The company moved into the MLP Pruszków II logistics centre in 2017, initially leasing approximately 9,800 sqm of warehouse space. It has now expanded its lease, significantly increasing its operations within the complex.

"Makita's decision to expand its leased space is a clear confirmation that MLP Group is becoming the partner of first choice for companies from the logistics and industrial sectors. Our tenants stay with us for many years, developing their operations within our continuously expanding logistics complexes. This is also reflected in our retention rate, which remains at approximately 99%," said Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director Poland at MLP Group.

"The decision to significantly increase the leased space is a natural step in the further development of our operations and a confirmation of our very good, long-term cooperation with MLP Group. The logistics park provides modern infrastructure, high operational standards and comfortable working conditions. The possibility of expansion within one complex gives us the stability and flexibility necessary for continued growth and for responding to the market's growing needs," said Grażyna Tarczewska, HR and Operations Director at Makita. "Consolidating warehouse operations in a single facility allows Makita to streamline key logistics processes, from inbound goods handling and order picking to nationwide product distribution. Centralising infrastructure ensures better control over goods flows, shorter lead times and greater flexibility in responding to market needs," said Renata Krzyżanowska, Associate, Industrial & Logistics Agency at Cushman & Wakefield.

MLP Pruszków II is the largest logistics complex in the region, with a target gross leasable area of 427,000 sqm.
