HIH Invest Real Estate has just sold two HGV service stations in Poland on behalf of an investment fund owned by a German pension scheme and by a foundation. The assets were purchased by Investika, a Czech investment company formed in 2015. The closing of the transaction is scheduled for January 2022.

Romanian developer One United Properties says it will take over a majority stake in Bucur Obor, a shopping centre based in Bucharest. 

Revetas Group says it has shifted its entire portfolio of assets in Romania to renewable energy, as a continuation of the company’ commitment to ESG practices. 

Property developer Hagag Development Europe has purchased Susai Hotel in Romanian mountain resort Predeal, in a move that marks the first transaction outside Bucharest. 

Wing has sold buildings B, C and I in the Infopark office park in Budapest. The properties were sold through the Gladiator V Real Estate Investment Fund, the buyer being SkyGreen Buildings Ltd. Wing intends to use the proceeds from the sale for the purposes set out in its business plan, namely to strengthen its position in the region.

M7 Real Estate has completed the final sale on behalf of the M7 Central European Real Estate Fund I (M7 CEREF), with the disposal of the Mani Business Centre in Zagreb to Raiffeisen Pension Insurance Company. M7 will continue to asset manage the property on behalf of the new owner.

George Becali, one of the wealthiest Romanians active in the property sector, has taken over Inter Hotel from Interagro, an agriculture group that is under administration. 

S Immo AG has expanded its portfolio in the Hungarian capital with the BudaPart Gate, a LEED Gold certified Class A office building. The lettable area measures around 20,000 sqm, the building is fully let. The office property is located at the entrance to the BudaPart area, the largest ongoing urban development project in Budapest with a mix of office, residential, retail, gastronomy, entertainment and local recreation. The seller is Market Asset Management Zrt, a subsidiary of one of the largest construction companies in Hungary. The two parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

According to Avison Young, investment activity in the Polish market speeded up in the third quarter of the year in comparison to the first half of 2021 in terms both of the investment volume and number of transactions.

The international consulting company Cushman & Wakefield has summed up the third quarter of 2021 for the commercial real estate market in the CEE region. The investment volume at the end of the third quarter of the year amounts to €6.7 billion and is nearly 13% lower than for the same period in 2020.
