Hungary’s B+N expands further with Slovenian acquisition

Savills IM buys Warsaw logistics centre for €112.5 million

Savills Investment Management has acquired the A2 Warsaw Park logistics centre in Adamów, near Grodzisk Mazowiecki for €112.5 million. The property was purchased from Invesco Real Estate, a global real estate investment manager, on behalf of Savills IM European Logistics Fund 3 (ELF3), which already owns 11 investments across Europe. This is the fund’s largest transaction in Europe and one of Savills IM’s largest investments in the Polish commercial real property market.

Atrium acquires 650 resi units in Poland for €53 million

Atrium European Real Estate Limited, an owner and operator of shopping centres and residential for rent properties in Central Europe, announces that it has signed its first two residential transactions, totalling around 650 residential units, located in Warsaw and Kraków in Poland, for €53 million in aggregate. Atrium will invest further into the properties in order to achieve the highest sustainability standards and a BREEAM certification.

New leases

  • GTC has extended its lease for 1,700 square meters of office space with pharmaceutical company Egis Polska. The company will continue its operations in the Corius building at the Aeropark Business Centre in Warsaw.
  • IMSAT, a company that offers integrated engineering, electrical, automation, and industrial technology solutions, has expanded its office space, within Bucharest-based The Bridge office building, to 3,800 sqm. The deal was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
  • AutoWallis Group, the automotive retail and mobility service provider, has leased 5,600 sqm for its new HQ in the mixed-use Liberty complex, developed by Wing in Budapest.

New appointments

  • Justyna Filipczak has taken up the position of Executive Vice President of the CEE residential segment and joined YIT's management team.
  • Avison Young's Valuation and Advisory team in Poland has welcomed a new member, Michał Marynowski, who takes the role of Assistant Valuer. Among other experiences, he worked at the Court of Appeal in Warsaw, where he was responsible for verifying execution documentation for selected investments, updating data in the premises database for court buildings, and analysing tender bids. Proficient in GIS, AutoCAD, and Revit, he also has strong skills in interpreting planning documents.
  • Golden Star Group, an international investment firm operating in the real estate sector, has announced the promotion of two key specialists within its Polish team. Paweł Moczybroda has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer, while Ewa Dragunajtys has been promoted to Head of Asset Management.
