Inpark, the Hungarian industrial property development group launched the construction of its first international logistics centre to be leased by Kühne + Nagel Hungary. 


The construction of Inpark’s first logistics centre has commenced in Páty, near Budapest. The foundation stone was laid today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, the Managing Director of Kühne + Nagel Kft., Márton Lányi and the CEO of NIPÜF Zrt., Zsombor Török.
 
The 23,000 sqm greenfield project is to be developed by Inpark, known as the brand name of the state-owned industrial property development group NIPÜF. Set to be completed by July 2017, the distribution centre in Páty will create 160 new jobs in 2017. Inpark’s investment in the project is approximately €16 million, 75% of which will be financed by an international bank.
 
Inpark is an industrial property group focusing on developing logistics, distribution, manufacturing and storage facilities in Hungary. Inpark is the brand name of state-owned NIPÜF Zrt. Founded in December 2015, the company is tasked with developing a national industrial park network. It provides a full range of services to international and Hungarian customers from finding the right location for their businesses in its nationwide portfolio to designing, permitting and construction of standard or built-to-suit facilities for lease or sale. Inpark has more than 80,000 sqm of industrial properties under construction spread across two locations, Páty and Hatvan.

New leases

  • Panattoni has commenced construction on the latest phase of Panattoni Park Gorzów II, developing a bespoke BTS warehouse for DPD Polska. The facility will encompass 5,300 sqm tailored to the courier company’s operational requirements. DPD Polska is scheduled to begin operations at the new site in August 2026.

New appointments

  • Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
  • PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. Most recently, he served as Real Estate Expansion Manager at Twistcafe Group, supporting the company’s EMEA growth. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
  • iO Partners has announced key leadership changes within its Czech Republic operations as part of its ongoing business evolution. Milan Kilik has been appointed as the new Head of Office Leasing, with a particular focus on client advisory and team collaboration. Concurrently, Petr Kareš has transitioned into the role of Occupier Business Development Director. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and integrating services across Tenant Representation, Project Management, and Industrial Leasing.
