Immofinanz has sold another 3 ha plot of the former IUS industrial platform in Brașov, to an undisclosed real estate developer. The price is estimated at around €7 million, according to economica.net.

Immofinanz previously planned to develop a 60,000 sqm Stop Shop retail park on the 6 ha site of the former industrial platform which it acquired back in 2009. Last year, the Austrian company decided to sell a 1.2 ha plot of land to German retailer chains Lidl and Kaufland for €3.8 million, announcing that they abandoned the idea of developing their own retail project because of the bureaucracy.

According to economica.net sources, the remaining 1.8 ha of land could be transformed into a park if the City Hall purchases it.
