The first Hampton by Hilton hotel in Târgu Mureș has been inaugurated in July following an investment of €11 million made by Multinvest Group.
The 4-star hotel has a capacity of 115 rooms and targets business tourists. It includes a bar, restaurant, conference hall and underground parking.
“Approximately 67% of the total investment cost is the construction of the building and 33% is the cost of equipment and interior fittings," said Margit Gogolák Hrubecz, Co-Owner of Multinvest Group.
Pro Economica Foundation provided a 35% co-financing for the investment in the hotel project. The foundation is currently investing around €44 million in several tourism projects based in the Transylvania region. The investment pipeline includes 11 hotels with a combined capacity of 700 rooms.
