Dairy company FrieslandCampina has started operations on the 4,500 sqm logistics space based in industrial park Mureș City Logistics jointly developed by Global Vision and Globalworth.

The city logistics project spanning 18,000 sqm is located in a strategic area, near Târgu Mureș, offering very good logistic connectivity.

“In the new logistics center – an automated space that incorporates both the latest technology and efficient energy consumption, being more environmentally friendly – all our daily activities will be carried out in accordance with our standards and values and will support 100,000t/year dairy deliveries,” said Ferenc Szecskó, CEO FrieslandCampina Romania.

Sorin Preda, CEO & Founder Global Vision, added that Mureș City Logistics is the pilot project of the City Logistics Last Mile series, a concept launched last year as part of its strategy to develop industrial and logistics projects in close proximity of large cities.

The Mureș City Logistics project was delivered following an investment of more than €12 million.
