As of September 2021, Tamás Sellyey has been appointed Director of Strategy and Business Development at Forestay Group, with a key role in the Group's major expansion plans. His mandate will fully cover organisational and business development processes, increasing the order book for engineering and fit-out services, as well as promoting in-house developments managed by the Group's fund management.


Forestay Group carries out real estate investments, developments and construction projects with a focus on Central Europe. The group's member companies cover the full range of property development, property fund management, project and construction management and property management. During its existence, the group has completed more than 150 successful projects and its 60-strong professional team implements market orders with the same ownership approach as the management of the real estate portfolio owned by Forestay Fund Management Ltd.

Tamás Sellyey has been a key player in the Hungarian real estate industry since 1998, during which time he has gained considerable experience in the fields of consulting, investment and development. He has worked as Investment Director of DTZ Hungary and Managing Director of DBH Real Estate, among others, and most recently spent 4 years at DVM Group as Operations and Sales Director. Previously, he gained high-level corporate management experience in senior positions at Philips Lighting and Philips Hungary, a major premium supplier partner in the domestic real estate development sector. In addition to his work as an economist, he is active in business organisations, serving as Vice President of the Dutch-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and as a board member of the National Association of Managers.
