The Zleep Hotels brand continues its international growth in Europe with the opening of the new 166-room Zleep Hotel in Prague, Deutsche Hospitality's first hotel in the Czech Republic. The hotel opened its doors in the new Waltrovka quarter in the southwest of the Czech capital just a few minutes walk to Radlicka metro station

According to Denis Hüttig, Senior Vice President of Operations Deutsche Hospitality: "The opening of Zleep Hotel Prague marks an important step in our strategy of international expansion for Deutsche Hospitality and our brand Zleep Hotels. The select-service brand is one of the engines driving our growth."

"Zleep Hotel Prague has all the prerequisites for success thanks to transport accessibility to both the city centre and the airport. It will also benefit from the business clientele from the neighbouring office buildings," says David Musil, Director of Residential Development and Hospitality at Penta Real Estate.

Prague is the Zleep Hotels brand's third location outside Denmark, following Upplands Väsby, near Stockholm in Sweden, and Madrid in Spain. Deutsche Hospitality, to which the brand Zleep Hotels belongs, is thereby celebrating its entry into the Czech Republic market. Further Zleep Hotels brand openings slated for 2024 include Lausanne-Chavannes, Hillerød and Zurich-Kloten. Zleep Hotel Prague is operated by Deutsche Hospitality in its capacity as a leaseholder. The project was managed by the Czech project development company Penta Real Estate.

The carbon cost is already in your building. You just can't see it yet

by Property Forum
A structural shift is rewriting the financial logic of European commercial real estate. It isn't being driven by ESG pressure or voluntary sustainability labels. It's being driven by regulation — and the numbers are concrete enough that ignoring them is becoming a financial risk. A recent white paper by workcloud24 traces the mechanism in detail: how the operational energy and CO₂ performance of a building transmits into net operating income, asset value, and financing conditions. The argument isn't that green buildings are virtuous. It's that inefficient buildings are becoming measurably more expensive to own, operate, and finance.
