Stefan de Goeij is joining the Cushman & Wakefield ESG team as a Partner. The sustainability and property management professional will lead the CEE team as Head of Sustainability & ESG as of July 2023.

With over 23 years of real estate experience, Stefan has worked as a Director at Avison Young, where he led Czech Republic's and Slovakia's Property Management & ESG business. Prior to Avison Young, Stefan has been CTP’s Property Management Group Director & Sustainability Officer, where he was responsible for the management and sustainability of the existing CTP portfolio in the CEE, representing a total rental area of 5.5 million sqm. He has studied civil engineering and architecture at Den Bosch and later Real Estate Management at Hague University. Stefan is a member of IFMA, a lecturer at the MBARE at Prague University of Economics, an RICS-qualified FM professional and Interim Chairman of the Advisory Board of RICS Czech Republic.

In his new role, Stefan de Goeij will be coordinating and expanding the operation of the firm’s Sustainability and ESG teams in the CEE region. He will also become a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s EMEA Sustainability Operational Committee which is responsible for driving Sustainability services, sharing best practices, knowledge, and service unification for clients across the entire EMEA region.

In the CEE region, Cushman & Wakefield now expands its existing sustainability and ESG services, offering clients comprehensive advisory. Property owners or occupiers can receive specific and individual recommendations on decreasing the environmental impact of their building and help with their implementation. They will benefit not only from the lower burden their property generates, but also from its higher operational efficiency, getting their buildings ready to meet future demands and regulatory requirements, and keeping them on a competitive level.
