Romania Sotheby's International Realty has listed a former hunting lodge built for Nicolae Ceaușescu in 1985 for €995,000. The property, now known as Hadar Chalet, is located in Gura Siriului, Buzău county, approximately one hour from Brașov.

The estate spans 41,198 sqm with 1,821 sqm of built area and operates completely independently from public utilities. It features its own water sources, electricity generation and heating systems, accessible via a 4km forest road suitable for year-round use.

The main residence includes 8 double rooms, 2 junior suites, 3 deluxe suites and a penthouse, all with private bathrooms. Additional facilities include dining areas, professional kitchen, reception hall, games room and conference hall. The property has hosted over 250 weddings since entering the events circuit.

Outdoor amenities include an outdoor pool, night-lit tennis court, zen garden, fitness area, gazebo, panoramic terraces and children's playground. The estate features a helicopter landing area for quick access from cities like Bucharest, Brașov or Sibiu. A separate rustic-modern barn serves as an event space.

"Through listing this property, Romania Sotheby's International Realty brings to market a rare investment opportunity in a domain with historical value and multiple potential uses," the company stated. The property offers residential, tourism and premium event possibilities at an attractive price point.
