CA Immo has sold a 62,000 sqm land plot close to Budapest Airport to Földfém Kft. and intends to fully focus on the office market in the future. CA Immo was represented by CBRE and Hungarian law firm Cerha Hempel in the transaction.

The transaction between CA Immo and Földfém Kft. was successfully completed in the fourth quarter of 2019. CA Immo started cleaning up its portfolio in 2015 with the sale of Europolis Park M1, followed by Aerozone Industrial Park and the Duna Center shopping centre.

“With the sale of the property, we have completed the streamlining of our portfolio and plan to continue focusing on Class A offices. Because the site is located in a key location near Liszt Ferenc International Airport, the new owner can use it in different ways. We hope that we have contributed to a successful greenfield project by selling this property," said Ede Gulyás, Managing Director of CA Immo Hungary.

“Our company has been building factory buildings, offices and warehouses for companies in Vecsés for 20 years. Our two existing sites are full and it is necessary to acquire new space,” added Károly Földi, Managing Director of Földfém Kft.
