A new generous public space has been created on the banks of the Vltava River in Karlin, easily accessible from Holešovice thanks to the HolKa footbridge. The entire area managed by CA Immo is now called Riverside Karlín. Since September, a new kindergarten has been open there, which is also accessible to families from the surrounding area, and the developer is preparing other services that have been lacking in the locality so far. The River Rink, which has been transformed from an ice rink into a place where other cultural and sporting activities take place, is already open all year round.

The extensive transformation of Rohanský nábřeží under the leadership of the development company CA Immo did not end with the completion of the last office building. After almost twenty years, the formerly neglected area on the right bank of the Vltava River has become a district where people come not only to work but also to relax, play sports and have fun. A complex of five office buildings named after rivers from all over the world - Danube House, Nile House, Amazon Court, Mississippi House and Missouri Park - has just been complemented by a newly completed park that opens the entire space to the public. It is accessible not only from Karlín but also from Holešovice, via the recently completed footbridge with the nickname HolKa. Cyclists can even arrive here directly from the city centre via the A2 cycle path, which has been resurfaced and widened to four metres. The final and symbolic culmination of CA Immo's construction in this location is the renaming of the complex from the former River City Prague to Riverside Karlín.

"From the very beginning, it was our intention to open this place along the Vltava River to those who do not come here just to work. And the new park was a great solution. It is where people can meet, children can play and everyone can find their own piece of peace," comments Václav Jonáš, Director of CA Immo in the Czech Republic. "In the autumn, a restaurant with a large outdoor garden and a view will open, and next door an event space with a bar and a rich cultural programme. Gradually, a new Karlin waterfront for pleasant outdoor leisure with seasonal refreshments, and cultural and sports events is also being created. At River Rink, you can dance or play football in the summer and skate or stand-up in the winter. Last season alone, around 40,000 people from all over Prague visited our ice rink, and for the second winter season in a row, children from the surrounding kindergartens and primary schools come here to skate for free."

The Riverside Karlín project consists of five buildings, all of which achieve the highest sustainability standards and together provide 85,000 sqm of premium office space. In addition to the aforementioned park, Riverside Karlín has also had its own kindergarten since this September as a much-needed service not only for workers from the adjacent offices but also for families from Karlín and the surrounding area.
