Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) has chosen the Wita mixed-use project in Kraków as the headquarters for its Polish operations. The company will occupy the entire office building C, offering approximately 13,300 sqm of modern Class A space.
BBH is a global financial institution present in key markets worldwide and a leading provider of asset servicing and operational model solutions for asset management firms and financial institutions. The decision to lease the entire building within the Wita project shows that international organisations value not only high-quality office space, but also their surroundings, access to services, transport connections and the comprehensive workplace experience.
"In the Wita project we gain an opportunity to create a workplace designed from scratch with how we work in mind, with sustainable development and technology as key elements," says Seán Páircéir, Partner, Global Head of Investor Services, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
"Wita is another example of a successful destination project that has transformed this part of Kraków. We create places that combine different functions and respond to the real rhythm of the city, work and daily life. Today, companies are looking for locations where employees can work, build relationships and benefit from amenities that support their daily lives," says Rafał Mazurczak, COO Echo Investment.
In the commercial and technical negotiation process and workplace optimisation consulting, BBH was represented by international advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield.
