Simultaneously with the opening of the R7 motorway section in Southern Slovakia, the Log Center R7 logistics centre project gained its building permit for its 30,000 sqm logistics hall. The project is developed by Austrian developer Go Asset.

The R7 motorway connects this new logistics hotspot with Bratislava (40 km) and Vienna (125 km). The state-of-the-art logistics centre will offer around 100,000 sqm of usable space in three buildings. Construction work on the project will begin in the coming months.

Companies such as METRANS, Schindler, Wertheim, LG, cargo partner, Chipita and Deichmann already operate in the immediate vicinity of the new logistics centre. In the neighbourhood, there is also a logistics hall of the company KiK, which was also developed by Go Asset.

The current Log Center R7 project is a typical big-box logistics product from Go Asset. In the autumn of 2019, the company based in Austria announced the introduction of the Log Center brand in Central and Southeastern Europe.

"Log Center Adria near Trieste / Koper is the first project. We are now pleased to be able to create another logistics hotspot in the area of Dunajská Streda in Slovakia and offer our tenants state-of-the-art solutions for logistics needs,” says Go Asset CEO Andreas Liebsch.

Go Asset has been operating in Slovakia since 2006 and has since developed a number of commercial properties. The developer focuses on the Dunajská Streda region from

2015, where he recently built a Class A logistics and distribution centre with an area of 56,000 sqm in Kostolné Kračany for the German company KiK. This building meets strict environmental standards, which was also awarded by the DGNB certificate in the Gold standard.
