MDC2, together with an investor - Invesco Real Estate, has concluded a lease agreement with AFL, which has taken 10,784 sqm at MDC2 Park Gliwice.


AFL is an international company providing comprehensive optical fibre network infrastructure solutions for the service provider, hyperscale, energy, enterprise and industrial sectors.

We chose MDC2 Park Gliwice because it uses environmentally sustainable solutions to ensure low-carbon and energy-efficient operations. The park's location in the immediate vicinity of the A4 and A1 motorways, access to a skilled workforce and the support of the Katowice Special Economic Zone also contributed to the choice of the location", says Daniel Rose, Managing Director – Connectivity, EMEA, - AFL.

 MDC2 claims to be committed to modern and environmentally friendly solutions. The focus is placed on adapting the roofs for the installation of photovoltaic panels.

Tenants will be guaranteed a system for monitoring their energy consumption. The developer has also provided charging points for electric vehicles and bicycle sheds. A rainwater retention system will also be installed. As part of the internal policy, 95% of the building materials are expected to be recyclable.

MDC2 Park Gliwice, which was completed in autumn 2023, comprises three warehouse buildings with a total area of 59,000 sqm. The logistics centre is located at the junction of two motorways: A4 and A1. The surrounding transport routes also include a network of national roads, including the local Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa,
