AFI has secured a €537 million refinancing package for three projects in its portfolio: AFI Cotroceni, AFI Brașov, and AFI Ploiești. This represents the largest real estate refinancing transaction in Romania, reinforcing AFI's commitment to the growth and development of its projects in the country.

The financing was provided by Erste Bank, BCR, Raiffeisen Bank, Raiffeisen Bank International, and Unicredit Bank represented by Dentons. AFI was assisted by CMS law firm.

"This refinancing reflects the strong confidence our financial partners place in AFI's portfolio and in the potential of the Romanian market. We remain committed to advancing our development and consolidation plans, staying true to our mission of delivering projects that meet the evolving needs of our communities and clients," stated Doron Klein, Deputy CEO of AFI Group and CEO of AFI Romania.

AFI Cotroceni is one of the largest shopping malls in CEE, with 90,000 sqm of GLA and over 350 brands. Located in western Bucharest, the mixed-use development also includes a 15,400 sqm A Class office project, AFI Loft. AFI Brașov offers 45,000 sqm GLA and over 150 brands, plus a 27,500 sqm A Class office project, AFI Park Brașov. AFI Ploiești, inaugurated in 2013, features over 34,000 sqm of leasable space.

Earlier this year, AFI secured two other refinancing packages totalling €173 million for four office projects and the Build to Rent project, AFI Home North. These operations consolidate AFI Romania's position as one of the country's leading real estate developers and investors.
