AFI Europe Czech Republic, a developer that has been focusing on the construction of rental housing in recent years, has already achieved 50% occupancy in its two newly completed buildings: the AFI Home Karlín at the corner of Thámova and Pernerova streets and the first phase of AFI Home Kolbenova in Vysočanská street.

"The interest in rental housing in the metropolis is enormous. At the present time of high-interest rates and tightened mortgage conditions, it is practically the only solution to secure quality housing in an interesting location with good amenities and connection to the public transport network. Moreover, with the possibility of immediate move-in and, in our case, with a flexible lease term," comments Doron Klein, AFI Europe's director for the Czech Republic.

Elena Pisotchi, Sales and Marketing Manager at AFI Europe adds: "The biggest demand is for fully furnished apartments in 2+kk size. Both AFI Europe residences have a reception with 24-hour security. The apartments are furnished up to 2+kk. In addition, there are underground garages and spacious cellars in the basement of the buildings.

The Karlín project was created by reconstructing two original buildings from the beginning of the 20th century, which was sensitively complemented by an extension reaching ten floors above ground. Altogether, it comprises 172 flats in layouts ranging from 1+kk to 4+kk. The city centre is within easy reach: just two metro stops or a five-minute drive. The surrounding area offers a wide range of shops and services, as well as social and cultural events. The Atlas cinema, the Kasárna Karlín complex and the Přístav 18600 centre are all close by.

The second residence is an apartment building in the rapidly developing multifunctional AFI City district in Vysočany, which includes a large park with a playground, promenade and seating area. In the near future, a kindergarten and a restaurant with outdoor seating will also be built here. The first of the two houses AFI HOME Kolbenova offers 313 units in sizes from 1+kk to 4+kk.
