On February 25, 2021 the 7,000th store of Żabka chain was opened. The facility is located in the town of Biecz in Lesser Poland.

"The pandemic showed how important is the support to franchisees in daily running of business by such chain as Żabka, which allows for stable follow-up of business operations on the local market and continued development of enterprise in Poland despite the difficulties. Presently, our chain associates over 5,600 local entrepreneurs running 7,000 stores across Poland, which support approximately 25,000 jobs in total", says Tomasz Suchański, President of the Board in Żabka Polska.

"We support local enterprise and within franchising cooperation scheme we offer the possibility to run own business under a well-known brand, with full logistic, technological and marketing support. Moreover, which in particularly import during the pandemic, we guarantee assistance in many areas of business functioning, and we equip each store for free with disinfecting agents, face masks and gloves, to make customers and store assistants feel safe. We are going to continue our development in the region; presently over 430 entrepreneurs run Żabka stores in the Lesser Poland region" – says Adam Manikowski, Vice President of the Board, Managing Director in Żabka Polska.

The chain enjoys an increasingly dynamic development in towns with the population under 50,000 residents. In 2020 it opened stores in as many as 78 towns where there had been no Żabka facility before. Those include among others: Gostycyn (Kuyavian-Pomeranian region), Parzęczew (Łódź region), Stryszawa (Lesser Poland region), Latchorzew (Mazovian region), Skorogoszcz (Opole region, Przechlewo (Pomeranian region) or Cięcina (Silesian region).

For several years, Żabka has been effectively expanding its logistic infrastructure. This year it commenced the construction of fully automated facility near Radzymin in the vicinity of Warsaw.
