As at 31 December 2017, Globalworth's combined real estate portfolio was valued at €1,815.4 million, comprising €1,135.3 million in Romania and €680.1 million in Poland via GPRE. Globalworth posted its results for the year 2017.

Griffin Premium Real Estate, 71.7% owned by Globalworth, is being rebranded as Globalworth Poland and will be renamed as Globalworth Poland Real Estate N.V.

Globalworth has completed the acquisition of two additional land plots adjacent to its assets on the Gara Herastrau/Barbu Vacarescu corridor of Bucharest for approximately €16 million. Globalworth is, according to zf.ro, in talks with NEPI Rockcastle to acquire The Office Cluj and City Business Centre Timisoara. The investor completed a €330 million ordinary share issue at the end of last year and intends to use the money raised for investments in Poland and Romania.

Globalworth provided an update on a number of initiatives completed prior to year-end: the acquisition of two land plots in Bucharest, an increase in its shareholding in Griffin Premium RE and the completion of the EPP deal.

Globalworth announced that is has acquired a 67.90% of the issued share capital of Griffin Premium Real Estate, a Dutch entity listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Globalworth confirmed that is plans to raise approximately €300 million through a non‐pre-emptive placing of new ordinary shares. The funds would be used for new purchases in Poland (two office buildings) and Romania (three office building) with a total value of €410 million. The company also published its latest development plans.

Globalworth Asset Managers SRL has entered into a conditional investment agreement to acquire a minimum of 50.01% and up to 67.90% of the issued share capital of Griffin Premium RE, a Dutch entity listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

JLL Romania will provide technical consulting services for the construction of Groupe Renault's future headquarters in Romania, the largest office building currently under construction in Bucharest.
