Miguel is responsible for developing IHG’s brands in Poland and Eastern Europe countries, including Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania, for both franchised and managed hotels. With IHG since June 2015, Miguel was responsible for the signing of 19 new deals, the majority across Poland. Miguel has extensive experience in hotel development and has been involved in over 30 projects in Europe. He also has over nine years of experience working on the Holiday Inn Express brand in Portugal, Northern Spain and Poland. Prior to joining IHG, Miguel created the Polish Hotel Company which was responsible for the development of the Holiday Inn Express brand in Poland. Miguel oversaw Holiday Inn Express Warsaw Airport from its conceptual design, financing, coordination with IHG and construction surveying, right through to its pre-opening and management.
