Paul Betts is Managing Director of M7 in Central Europe, based in Prague but responsible for operations across the Central European region. Paul has been working in real estate for 26 years and has been based overseas for over 22 years in Central Europe and France. Prior to joining M7 in May 2015, Paul was Head of EMEA Logistics at Jones Lang LaSalle. He was a Director responsible for the coordination of all business services offered within the Logistics sector across the EMEA region. He was also a member of the Global Logistics Board. Prior to this Paul was a Partner of King Sturge and Managing Director of the French operations.
Previously, Paul was located in Prague for King Sturge becoming Managing Director in 1995. He oversaw the team expansion from eight to 25 and was involved in the formation of new offices in Poland, Hungary and Croatia. Paul advised on a number of the earliest institutional investment transactions in the region for clients including GE Capital and HypoVereinsbank as well as providing development advice including site assembly for Skanska. Paul significantly diversified the range of property services available for investor, developers and occupiers in the emerging Czech market.

Gabriel has over 21 years of experience in Romanian tax matters, having advised clients on complex tax litigation, compliance and structuring issues. He is well-known in the Romanian media for his tireless advocacy for meaningful tax reform to assist the business environment in Romania, and his appointment as Secretary of State in the Romanian Ministry of Finance was a vindication of his efforts.
Between December 2015 and September 2016, Gabriel was Secretary of State in the Romanian Ministry of Finance, in charge of tax legislation. He represented Romania at the First Inclusive Framework of OECD’s Anti-Beps Plan in Kyoto, Japan, in June 2016. During his mandate, he also promoted a future of VAT based on reverse charge with the European Commission.

Vladimír Bolek studied social sciences at Comenius University in Bratislava and later Law and economics at Nottingham Trent University - Brno International Business School in the Czech Republic.
He began his career in 1994 in public administration at central state administration level in Bratislava. Later, after the transition to the private sphere, he became asset manager specializing in real estate investments. After the establishment of specialized real estate mutual funds in Slovakia in 2006, he became the portfolio manager of specialized real estate fund in Erste Asset Management in Slovakia. He also created and managed portfolios for private banking department. Later he participated in portfolio management of corporate real estate company Slovnaft as. In 2010 he became a portfolio manager of the „First real estate fund“ of IAD Investmetns and deputy of several real estate companies incorporated in the structure of the first real estate fund of IAD Investments. In 2015 he was promoted into IAD Investments board as member of board responsible for portfolio management department.
Vladimir Bolek is also a contributor to professional publications dealing with the issue of investment and asset management of real – estate in Slovakia.
