Doinița Ilie MRICS

Doinița Ilie is a senior retail real estate professional with over 20 years of experience in retail leasing, shopping centre management and commercial strategy in Romania. Throughout her career, she has advised both landlords and retailers and has been involved in the leasing, development and repositioning of some of Romania’s leading shopping centres and retail destinations, including AFI Palace Cotroceni, Băneasa Shopping City, Sun Plaza, Colosseum Mall and City Park Constanța. Her experience spans tenant mix and leasing strategy, landlord and tenant representation, lease negotiations, shopping centre development and repositioning, as well as commercial and marketing strategy. She has held senior retail and leasing positions with Activ Property Services, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL and S IMMO, and most recently served as Head of Leasing at Colosseum Mall in Bucharest. Over the years, Doinița has worked closely with major national and international retailers, supporting their expansion in Romania, while also advising shopping centre owners on strengthening tenant mix, occupancy and long-term commercial performance. Doinița holds an Executive MBA from CNAM Paris and ASE Bucharest. She has also been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 2005 and previously served on the Romanian National Boards of both RICS and ICSC.
