The largest private student residence in Poland has just changed ownership. Offering 775 modern accommodation units, Basecamp Wrocław will add to the portfolio of Xior. The price has not been revealed.

Basecamp Wrocław on Sienkiewicza Street offers 775 accommodation units, comprising both en-suite rooms and comfortable studios with bathrooms and kitchenettes, spread across three buildings. The Wrocław facility is the largest modern private dormitory in Poland in terms of space. The dormitory is also distinguished by a wide range of amenities, including: an externally managed gym, a cinema, shared kitchens, study and recreation rooms, a grocery shop, an Italian restaurant and a delivery service.

The dormitory, which formerly housed the well-known Mamut bakery, has undergone a major expansion, meticulous revitalisation and comprehensive modernisation and was completed in 2022.

"As the third largest academic city in Poland, Wrocław is characterised by its high potential. The dormitory on Sienkiewicza Street, located within a radius of just two kilometres from campuses with a total of more than 50,000 students, is an excellent investment. We are delighted to have successfully advised on the sale of this property to Xior, one of the most active players in the Polish PBSA market", says Jacek Kaluzny, Head of Operational Capital Markets at Savills Poland.
