Wing and Accor have concluded a long-term agreement for a 12,000+ sqm area of the 42,000 sqm Liberty complex. As a result, the office building pursuing the BREEAM Excellent rating has added to its profile a dual-branded hotel under the Ibis and Tribe brands. The hotel part will be located in the landmark South wing and it is expected to be completed in 2023, which means this will be the first Tribe Hotel in Hungary.

A dual-branded hotel will open in the multifunctional Liberty building, currently under development. Wing is also present on the hotel market, and it has now concluded an agreement with the leading international hotel company Accor for an area of 12,500 sqm in the complex. Construction is underway, and according to the schedules, the hotel will welcome its first guests in the autumn of 2023.

Aiming for the BREEAM Excellent certification, the Liberty office building in Budapest 9th district is located at the intersection of Könyves Kálmán körút and Albert Flórián út.

The three-star ibis and the four-star Tribe brands will each operate half of the hotel rooms, 332 in total. The room levels will be located on the 5th to 8th floors of the south wing in the first phase of the two-phase development. According to the plans, the hotel will have four-star community spaces and services. The ground floor of the south wing will house the hotel's reception area as well as the lounge area, which will also function as a business corner. The conference room will also be used as an event venue – it will have a capacity of 220 persons and can be divided into 4 separate areas. The hotel will have a café, an a’ la carte restaurant, a gym, an underground parking garage and accessible rooms.

On the first to fourth floors of the south wing, on a total area of about 10,000 sqm, the developer will create Class A+ office premises. The Liberty building is easily accessible by car and by public transport, and it offers prospective tenants large, high-quality office spaces that can be flexibly arranged. The mixed-use, hotel-office, the south wing is expected to be completed in early 2023. The development of the 20,000 sqm north wing is taking place at the same time and is scheduled to be finished by late 2023.

“As a multifunctional building, Wing’s flagship development, Liberty, will have a unique position in the Hungarian real estate market. The synergy of the hotel function and the office spaces in the building will offer unparalleled opportunities to modern businesses. Liberty's uniqueness is due to its excellent accessibility, as well as its wide range of services and environmentally friendly solutions”, says Norbert Schőmer, Deputy Manager for office development at Wing Zrt.

Hotel services will also be available at promotional rates to employees at the Liberty Office Building. Besides the café, restaurant and lounge area, office tenants can also use the hotel concierge service. In addition, they will also have access to services like taxi ordering, cleaning, event organization, on-site catering and conference rooms. To ensure top security level for the offices, entrance lobby areas can be accessed from a separate foyer connecting to separate elevator blocks. A rooftop bar with a view will be built on top of the Liberty, available to hotel guests and tenants as well.
