Westbridge Poland has advised Skanska Commercial Development Europe on procuring electricity from renewable energy sources for two office properties in Poland. Following a structured tendering process, electricity supply for the Wave in Gdańsk and Brama Miasta in Łódź was newly contracted for the 2027 supply year.
The electricity volume managed by Westbridge amounts to around 3.25 gigawatt hours and covers four supply points. Both properties will be supplied under a fixed-price model, with supply backed by guarantees of origin from national renewable energy sources.
"Strategic energy procurement combines sustainability, cost certainty and risk management. It is essential not to view renewable energy in isolation, but to integrate it into a robust procurement structure," said Anna Nienaltowska, Head of Sales Poland at Westbridge Poland. "We are pleased to have supported Skanska in Poland with this step."
Westbridge Poland supported the entire process, from market analysis and tendering of suitable energy suppliers to evaluation of offers and final contract negotiations.
