Trigranit has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Unimot to supply green energy to Signum Work Station in Warsaw for three years.

The agreement with Unimot, Poland's largest independent fuel and energy group, will supply energy from renewable sources including wind and photovoltaic farms in Poland. The total electricity volume over the contract term will exceed 12 gigawatt-hours. The green energy procurement is expected to generate savings exceeding €70,000 compared to previous solutions through more predictable pricing and reduced market volatility exposure.

The green energy supply will reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 8,750 tonnes over three years, equivalent to annual emissions from more than 1,900 passenger cars or planting approximately 140,000 trees.

"Entering into a PPA for Signum Work Station forms part of our long-term strategy to strengthen the building's value and resilience," said Marta Zawadzka, Head of Leasing and Asset Management at Trigranit. "Direct access to renewable energy from traceable sources is now one of the key factors driving the competitiveness of office developments."

Westbridge Advisory Poland advised on the PPA negotiations for the building in Warsaw's Mokotów district.

The office building offers more than 32,400 sqm of leasable space and 870 parking spaces across seven above-ground and three underground floors. The building holds Breeam Excellent certification.
