Over 15,000 homes in Romania have received the green building certification between 2014 and 2024, and their combined value stands close to €3 billion, according to the Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC).

Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC), together with the Association for Promoting Energy Efficiency in Buildings (ROENEF), have announced the launch of the Green Gala Awards 2023, the event that rewards excellence in the field of sustainability of the built environment. The competition aims to award projects implemented as a result of innovative actions and initiatives that add value to both the community and the environment.

Equilibrium 2, the second phase of the Equilibrium project developed by Skanska in northern Bucharest, has obtained the preliminary Net Zero Carbon Buildings certification, granted by the Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC).
