Office development activity in Bucharest accelerated over the past year, with the volume of projects currently under construction exceeding 200,000 sqm of gross leasable area, the highest level since 2021. At least eight new office buildings are expected to be delivered by the end of 2028, according to a report by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.

The Office for the Protection of Competition in the Czech Republic has approved the merger of PPF Real Estate, a competitor, with Diplomat Prague RE and the company Hotels by HR Diplomat. 

PPF Real Estate has completed the infrastructure works for ARC, its new office project in Bucharest where it is investing €70 million. 

PPF Real Estate is buying the Prague Four Seasons Hotel on Veleslavínova Street in the Old Town, reports E15.cz. The transaction is being assessed by the Office for the Protection of Competition.

PPF Real Estate Holding has agreed to acquire, for an undisclosed amount, Hilton Prague, a landmark hotel in the Czech capital, from Quinn Group Luxembourg Hotels, represented by the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation.

The Romanian unit of Strabag has been selected as generator contractor for the construction of a new office building for PPF Real Estate in Bucharest.
