KKCG plans to build 500 flats on Prague brownfield site
500 flats will be built on the site of a medical device factory. This is what the KKCG group is announcing after its move to a two-and-a-half-hectare brownfield site in Modřany, Prague. The new acquisition was reported by the daily E15.

REICO acquires Prague's Bořislavka Centrum from KKCG
The Česká Spořitelna Real Estate Fund (Nemovitostní fond České spořitelny) is buying the Bořislavka Centrum shopping and office complex from KKCG Real Estate Group. With the acquisition, the fund has increased the number of buildings under its management to 21 and the value of its real estate portfolio exceeds CZK 38 billion, REICO announced in a press release. The parties didn't disclose the transaction price.

Jet Industrial purchases KKCG industrial portfolio in Poland
Jet Industrial Lease has bought a 54,000 sqm portfolio of five industrial buildings in Poland from Vestinlog, part of the KKCG group. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.

New shopping centre opens in Prague soon
A new shopping centre, part of the multifunctional Bořislavka Centrum complex developed by KKCG Group, is set to open in Prague on June 4. Located next to the Bořislavka metro station, the centre will feature approximately 9,000 sqm of retail space.

KKCG Real Estate invests in Poland's industrial market
KKCG Real Estate has bought five industrial BTS projects with 54,500 sqm of GLA in Poland. The transaction value was approx. €41 million. KKCG Real Estate is part of KKCG Group belonging to Czech investor Karel Komarek. AXI IMMO’s Investment department has advised buyer in the transaction.

New leases
- Worldbox has entered the Romanian market with its first store at Scallier's Funshop Park in Vaslui. The multi-brand store covers more than 660 sqm and offers clothing, footwear and accessories in the casual and sportswear segment.
- Greek jewelry designer Anna Maria Mazaraki has opened her first Romanian store in Bucharest-based ParkLake Shopping Center. The transaction for the new location was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
- Squarepoint, a global quantitative investment management firm, has leased close to 2,200 sqm in Warsaw based Skyliner II. Squarepoint was represented in the transaction by CBRE. Legal advisory for Karimpol was provided by Argon Legal.
New appointments
- CBRE Investment Management announced the firm is evolving the leadership model in its EMEA Direct Real Estate business. Under the enhanced structure, Rik Eertink will assume the role of President and CIO of EMEA Direct Real Estate, after serving as President of EMEA Direct Real Estate for the past five years.
- Nhood has appointed Mihaela Petruescu as the new Country Director for Property Services Romania & Poland as of October. She previously held leadership positions at large real estate firms, such as Cushman & Wakefield Echinox and CBRE Romania.
- Daniel Orczyk has been named Senior Project Manager at the technical advisory department of Avison Young in Poland. He is a licensed structural engineer and building site manager with over 20 years of experience.
