TAG Immobilen buys Polish developer ROBYG

TAG Immobilien AG has entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire a 100% interest in ROBYG S.A., a leading residential development firm in Poland, for an estimated purchase price of c. PLN 2,500 million (c. €550 million), net of certain adjustments ROBYG's currently secured pipeline consists of c. 23,000 residential units across four Polish cities, enabling TAG to a meaningful market entry into Warsaw.

Goldman Sachs buys Budapest office building

Revetas buys TriGranit from TPG Real Estate

Revetas, a specialist real estate investment manager focusing on the CEE region, together with funds managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, announced it has acquired TriGranit from TPG Real Estate, the real estate platform of global alternative asset firm TPG. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Goldman Sachs subsidiary to buy Polish residential developer

Bricks Acquisitions, part of the Goldman Sachs group, is to buy all shares of residential developer Robyg through a public tender on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Bricks Acquisitions is to pay PLN 3.55 per share, which represents a total transaction price of around €244 million (PLN 1,027 million). Entries in the tender are to be accepted from 2 January, 2018 to 2 February, 2018.

New leases

  • Chairry, a company specializing in fit-out - complete interior design solutions, has leased 240 sqm in UpGround complex in northern Bucharest. The project is owned by Globalworth.
  • French B2B and B2C specialist Armatis has leased 1,800 sqm in the Wave office building in Gdańsk’s Oliva district, which was developed and is owned by Skanska. Cushman & Wakefield advised the company for the lease agreement.
  • Flex office provider New Work is opening a new location in Prague, at Smichov Business Park.

New appointments

  • Garbe Industrial Real Estate CEE expands its teams in the region with the appointments of Veronika Zacha and Jan Hradecky, both are coming from Panattoni. Veronika Zacha is joining as Senior Business Development Manager for Czechia and Jan Hradecky will hold a Project Manager position.
  • Colin King has been appointed Strategic Advisor of Romanian PropTech Bright Spaces. King has worked for over 30 years with large public companies and private mid-cap growth businesses, all with revenue well in excess of £1 billion.
  • Bryan Wilson has left Wilsons as Partner and is now Head Of CEE at DUAL Asset, a London-based comprehensive title insurance solution provider.
