CPIPG sells resort hotel portfolio in Croatia
CPI Property Group has signed an agreement about selling two companies which own and operate resort hotels on the island of Hvar in Croatia. The agreement concerns the disposal of Sunčani Hvar Hotels, the company announced. The full purchase price has been deposited with an escrow agent, but the amount of the price was not specified.

Eagle Hills completes structural works on Kula Belgrade
Belgrade Waterfront developer Eagle Hills has completed structural works on Kula Belgrade. With 168 metres, 42 levels and a total area of about 50,000 sqm, the tower is the tallest building in Serbia and the region.

Belgrade Waterfront breaks ground on shopping mall
Following the completion of piling works, Belgrade Waterfront announced the official start of structural works on BW Galerija, which represents the biggest shopping and lifestyle destination in Serbia and the region. The structural works contract was awarded to Gradina. Opening is scheduled for 2020.

New leases
- Worldbox has entered the Romanian market with its first store at Scallier's Funshop Park in Vaslui. The multi-brand store covers more than 660 sqm and offers clothing, footwear and accessories in the casual and sportswear segment.
- Greek jewelry designer Anna Maria Mazaraki has opened her first Romanian store in Bucharest-based ParkLake Shopping Center. The transaction for the new location was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
- Squarepoint, a global quantitative investment management firm, has leased close to 2,200 sqm in Warsaw based Skyliner II. Squarepoint was represented in the transaction by CBRE. Legal advisory for Karimpol was provided by Argon Legal.
New appointments
- CBRE Investment Management announced the firm is evolving the leadership model in its EMEA Direct Real Estate business. Under the enhanced structure, Rik Eertink will assume the role of President and CIO of EMEA Direct Real Estate, after serving as President of EMEA Direct Real Estate for the past five years.
- Nhood has appointed Mihaela Petruescu as the new Country Director for Property Services Romania & Poland as of October. She previously held leadership positions at large real estate firms, such as Cushman & Wakefield Echinox and CBRE Romania.
- Daniel Orczyk has been named Senior Project Manager at the technical advisory department of Avison Young in Poland. He is a licensed structural engineer and building site manager with over 20 years of experience.
