Local investor buys shopping centre next to Prague
Hypermarket chain Albert has sold Obchodní centrum Čestlice to HSTN Holding, a private investment platform founded in 2017 by the founders of Sportisimo. The sale was facilitated by Cushman & Wakefield.

Local and Korean investors dominate the Czech market
The information on investment transactions in the Czech real estate sector for H1 2019, collected by Cushman & Wakefield, indicates a significant increase in volume. The figure achieved – €1.743 billion – shows that the decrease in 2018 was just a sway and not a real trend. The real estate market is expected to thrive in the latter half as well and its total performance could exceed €3 billion.

New leases
- Strategy has extended its lease agreement for office space in the Skyliner office building in Warsaw, part of the Karimpol Group's portfolio. Strategy occupies 1,500 sqm of office space on the 22nd floor of Skyliner I and was the building's first tenant.
- Hesburger has opened a new restaurant spanning 223 sqm in Cosmopolis, near Bucharest, following a €1 million investment.
- TriGranit has signed a lease agreement with Rolling Wireless for more than 1,500 sqm of office space at Bartók Ház in Budapest. As a result of the long-term lease extension and expansion, Rolling Wireless has become the second-largest tenant in the building.
New appointments
- CTP Romania has named Bianca Liulea-Stamate as Marketing Specialist. She has previously worked at DB Schenker for more than seven years.
- Věra Hordóssyová has joined GARBE Group as Account and Financial Manager. She brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, having held roles such as Chief Accountant and Financial Controller.
- Krzysztof Szargawiński has joined Avison Young Poland’s Office Agency team as an Associate Director. In his new role, Krzysztof will be responsible for leading the department’s projects in the Wrocław region. He brings over 20 years of experience in the Polish commercial real estate market, gained primarily in Wrocław, Warsaw, and Katowice.
