EBRD lends to Czech hospitality operator
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is lending €46.8 million to CIMEX Group, a hospitality operator in Czechia. The EBRD financing is being provided as part of a €140.4 million syndicated loan facility with UniCredit Bank and Raiffeisenbank.

Savills to lease and manage Cimex’s entire Czech portfolio
Private investment company Cimex Group has appointed Savills as property and leasing manager for its portfolio of twelve properties – ten in Prague, one in Plzen and one in Karlovy Vary – in the Czech Republic, starting August 2020. The total floor area of the buildings is more than 100,000 sqm and the portfolio currently provides premises for more than 500 tenants.

Česká pošta sells former monastery in Prague
Česká pošta has sold the former St. Gabriel Monastery, located in Prague's Smichov district, to the CIMEX group for €14 million (CZK 353 million).

New leases
- Lagardère Travel Retail has renewed its 2,300 sqm office lease for its HQ at the Bucharest-based Globalworth Campus, in a deal brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
- Jack & Jones has leased 310 sqm for a new store at Promenada Sibiu, owned by NEPI Rockcastle.
- Palas Campus, Romania's largest office building, is set to host the new regional hub for BCR starting this autumn. The HQ will occupy a surface area of approximately 1,000 sqm and will serve clients from the local county and adjacent regions.
New appointments
- NEPI Rockcastle has nominated Zelda Roscherr as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Roscherr will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2026. André van der Veer, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director, will retire at the conclusion of the AGM and will not seek re-election.
- Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
- PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. Most recently, he served as Real Estate Expansion Manager at Twistcafe Group, supporting the company’s EMEA growth. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
