Office leasing in Bucharest reached its lowest point in four years during H1 2025, according to Colliers consultants. Total leasing transactions exceeded 100,000 sqm, representing a more than one-third decrease compared to the same period last year.
The ongoing construction of office projects in Bucharest fell by around 50% year-on-year by H1 2024, to 46,900 sqm, with their completion scheduled for 2024-2026, according to an iO Partners report.

The ČEZ Group has leased a space of over 2,500 sqm at Brno Airport Park in a deal brokered by 108 Real Estate. The park is owned and asset-managed by the investment group Accolade. The operation of the park is overseen by Panattoni, with Blue Assets serving as the property manager.
The owners of the luxury patisserie chain DESEO Patisserie & Chocolaterie have extended their long-term lease at the Vis à Vis Wilanów retail park. The company occupies 93 sqm of stylishly arranged space within the building.
Funky Buddha, an international fashion brand part of the ALTEX S.A. group, is continuing its expansion into the Romanian market with the inauguration of its first store outside Bucharest, located in Iulius Town Timișoara. The new location, situated on the ground floor of the complex, marks the brand's second physical presence in the country.
New appointments
Nhood has appointed Mihaela Petruescu as the new Country Director for Property Services Romania & Poland as of October. She previously held leadership positions at large real estate firms, such as Cushman & Wakefield Echinox and CBRE Romania.
Daniel Orczyk has been named Senior Project Manager at the technical advisory department of Avison Young in Poland. He is a licensed structural engineer and building site manager with over 20 years of experience.
Łukasz Meisner has joined Peakside Capital Advisors as Head of Project Management. He will be responsible for the management of Peakside's investment projects in Poland, including overseeing the implementation of key investments within the City Point, Urban Parks, and Peakside Industrial logistics platforms.
