Ostrava Airport opens new cargo terminal

Ostrava Airport has opened an air cargo terminal called Cargo 2 at the airport in Mošnov in the Novojičín region (25 minutes south of Ostrava). It cost CZK 139 million (€5.6 million) to build and was constructed by the Ostrava company HSF System. The terminal will increase the airport's capacity and improve the quality of cargo handling, the Czech News Agency (ČTK) reports.

CTP starts construction of cargo terminal in Oradea

Industrial developer CTP has started the construction of CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal, the first industrial park with an air cargo terminal in Romania. The project is located close to Oradea Airport and the Eurobusiness II industrial park.

New leases

  • In April this year, the House brand joined the group of tenants at CH Korona in Wrocław. The salon occupies nearly 285 sqm of sales space.
  • 18 Gym Fitness & Beauty will open a new location within Agora Arad (the former Galleria Arad) in a deal brokered by the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. Agora Arad has a leasable area of 36,000 sqm and is currently undergoing a major refurbishment.
  • Transport company Zadbano has become a new tenant at LCube Rzeszów Airport. The company has taken 1.3 thousand sqm of warehouse space in Building 2, which was completed last year.

New appointments

  • Urszula Sekuła has joined the Retail Institute team as Business Development Director. She will be responsible for business development in Poland and three European markets.
  • Hines has announced a new leadership team for Poland. Marcin Wielgus, previously Finance Director and Head of Transactions, will take up the role of Chief Operating Officer and President of the Management Board while Kamil Nurek, previously Director of Project Management will assume the role of Director of Development and Asset Management and Vice-President of the Management Board.
  • At the beginning of April 2024, Barbara Tomaszewska took over as Director of the first Aiden by Best Western in Łódź, Poland. She was previously Deputy Director at Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence.
