Futureal raises €150 million in green bonds

Hungarian developer Futureal has completed its first-ever green bond issue as part of the National Bank of Hungary's (MNB) Bond Funding for Growth Scheme (BGS). The company received bids worth HUF 59.92 billion for the bonds, which have a nominal value of HUF 50 billion. Futureal subsequently sold HUF 55 billion (approximately €150 million) of the bonds, for one of the largest issues under the BGS scheme. Futureal Group is currently developing projects with a gross space of more than 1 million sqm in Hungary.

CTP confirms 10 million sqm GLA target by end-2023

CTP has announced a 15% annual growth which helped the company reach €344 million of annualised rental income by the end of 2020. Atrium issues €300 million inaugural green bond

Atrium European Real Estate Limited has priced a €300 million inaugural green bond offering due 5 September 2027 under its EMTN Programme. The New Green Notes are issued by Atrium Finance Issuer B.V. and are guaranteed by Atrium. An amount equal to the net proceeds of the offering will be allocated to finance or refinance eligible projects and assets.

Crestyl to issue bonds to finance Prague mixed-use project

Local developer Crestyl, through its subsidiary Savarin p.l.c., is issuing five-year zero-coupon bonds with a total nominal value of €84 million (CZK 2.2 billion) this week, with the possibility of increasing to CZK 3.3 billion. The purpose of the issue is to finance the Savarin project, which is being developed in the vicinity of Prague's Wenceslas Square and Na Příkopě Street. The multi-purpose complex also includes space for the installation of Alfons Mucha’s Slav Epic. The issue was prepared by J&T Banka and the bonds are also traded on the regulated market of the Prague Stock Exchange.

GTC issues €110 million of green bonds in Hungary

On 3 December 2020, GTC’s subsidiary, GTC Real Estate Development Hungary Zrt., issued 792 pieces of senior unsecured bonds, with the nominal value of HUF 50 million each and the total value of HUF 39.6 billion (approximately €110 million). The bonds will be fully guaranteed by GTC S.A.

CTP completes €400 million green bond issue

CTP has successfully issued its second green bond for €400 million, following the company’s inaugural €650 million issue in October. The proceeds from both bond sales will be used to finance a portfolio of eligible green assets. CTP maintains a strong commitment to sustainability and targets carbon-neutral operations by end-2021.

New leases

  • The global fintech group - Capital.com - has extended its lease agreement for 3,000 sqm of office space in the Skyliner office building in Warsaw until 2032. Over the past 12 months, lease extension agreements for a total of nearly 12,000 sqm have been signed in the building.
  • REHAU, a global manufacturer of advanced polymer solutions, has signed a lease for approximately 4,100 sqm of space at MLP Business Park Poznań. The new facility will integrate warehouse operations with modern office space and a dedicated showroom for product presentations, corporate meetings, and technical training.
  • RecuNova has leased 305 sqm in the Bucharest-based Olympia Tower office building for a new medical clinic. The lease deal was brokered by Activ Property Services.

New appointments

  • Romanian office developer Genesis Property has appointed Cătălin Niculiță as Leasing Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has held leadership roles at real estate companies such as Atenor, collaborating with major office tenants in the banking, telecom, and IT sectors.
  • Krzysztof Wróblewski (MRICS) has been named Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors, responsible for overseeing investments and managing the real estate portfolio. He succeeds Christopher Smith in this role.
  • Garbe Industrial is reorganising its senior leadership team. CEO Christopher Garbe will now focus on strategic orientation and international activities. Jan Philipp Daun assumes leadership of the Development division alongside his existing Investment and Joint Venture responsibilities. Andrea Agrusow expands her remit to include Portfolio Management while retaining control of Commercial and Real Estate Management. Additionally, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will now jointly head the restructured Development unit as Management Board Members, succeeding Adrian Zellner.
