Facility management group Atalian has signed this year a strategic global agreement with Gausium, the provider of autonomous cleaning and service robots. The partnership enables Atalian to introduce “cobotics” solutions worldwide, in large scale projects.

Atalian, the facility management services provider, has expanded its collaboration with tires maker Michelin, adding Serbia in the portfolio, after France and Romania. The partnership between the 2 companies started 12 years ago in France and has been developed over the last decade in Central and Eastern Europe. 

Mihaela-Cora Cristescu, CEO of Atalian Romania spoke to Property Forum about the growth of the local facility management market and about investments in new technologies, including robots, which are expected by companies in the commercial real estate sector.

Alexandru Pascu, Regional Key Accounts Manager CEE at Atalian, spoke to Property Forum about the impact of ESG policies on the demand structure for facility management services and the growing role of technology in shaping the buildings of the future.
