Speedwell obtained the BREEAM Excellent Certification for the first building in The Ivy residential complex under development in northern Bucharest.
The project has achieved an overall score of 76% following the certification process. The complex was evaluated on various topics ranging from land use to quality of the materials, ecology and wellbeing.
“We are glad that our strategy has been validated from a sustainability point of view as well, which shows the attention towards our residents, partners and stakeholders,” said Didier Balcaen, CEO and Co-founder of Speedwell.
At present, the company is developing the third building of the residential complex comprising 128 apartments. All in all, The Ivy will include 800 apartments in ten buildings.
