Poznań-based company Scallier, specialising in retail project development and management in Poland and Romania, has completed the sale of another commercial property developed in partnership with PKB Inwest Budowa.

Following the divestments of retail parks in Pleszew and Wrocław, which were sold to LCP Poland, this transaction involved a property located in Nowa Wieś near Pruszków, within the Warsaw metropolitan area.

The retail property acquired by Centerscape offers approximately 2,000 sqm of space. Situated on a 0.8-hectare plot, the complex consists of two retail buildings — one housing a Biedronka supermarket, and the other accommodating tenants such as Pepco, Maxi Zoo, and Totalizator Sportowy.

"The investment was completed and opened at the end of 2023. After over a year and a half, the property was acquired by a company owned by a US-based fund that invests in retail real estate across Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland," says Bartosz Nowak, Managing Partner at Scallier. "The pace of retail real estate development in Poland remains strong. Locally operating retail parks and convenience centres are capturing a growing share of the market, now accounting for over one-quarter of Poland's modern retail space."

As part of its partnership with PKB Inwest, Scallier was responsible for the land acquisition, commercialisation of the project, investment advisory services, and the sale of the property in Nowa Wieś near Pruszków.
