Retail developer Scallier has attracted Stay Fit Gym as tenant in its retail parks based in Romania. As part of the agreement covering 6,256 sqm, six fitness clubs under the Stay Fit brand will be opened in the retail projects operated by Scallier. The first retail park is slated to open in a retail park in Moșnița in the upcoming months.
Marius Preodisteanu, Founder and Head of Expansion at Stay Fit Gym, said the company aims to build its local network to 55-60 fitness centres by 2025.
Wojciech Jurga, Managing Partner at Scallier responsible for the company's development in Romania, said the company’s development strategy assumes the development of retail parks in small and medium-sized Romanian cities. The developer said it has a high rental rate across its local portfolio.
“We prepare projects tailored in scale and offer to local conditions, meeting the tastes and needs of local communities, hence the construction of further projects and preparation of further investments, the implementation of which will soon begin on the plots we have already secured,” added Jurga.
Scallier’s retail parks in Romania have received the international BREEAM certification system.
