Richard Stephens, founder of The Poland Observer and a leading figure in Polish and CEE real estate media, has joined Property Forum as Executive Editor & Business Development Director. Based in Warsaw, he will lead Property Forum's development of its Polish coverage and events, as well as help shape its expansion into new geographies and sectors. He will continue to run The Poland Observer, which will operate alongside Property Forum's regional platform.
"I've spent more than two decades building media and events around the Polish and CEE property market - from Eurobuild to Poland Today to The Poland Observer - while bringing well over 200 international journalists into the region along the way. I've also made a dozen short films promoting cities, companies and projects in Poland that have reached over a million viewers combined. Poland is the biggest single market in CEE real estate, and joining forces with a platform that already has pan-regional reach means we can build something much stronger together. I'm looking forward to helping build that with Csanad and the Property Forum team," says Richard.

Richard founded The Poland Observer in 2023, an English-language media and events platform promoting Poland to the international business community, organising conference sessions at MIPIM in Cannes and Expo Real in Munich, as well as producing films promoting business in Poland. Since 2005 he has also organised more than 20 international media tours to Poland and the wider CEE region, including tours for UEFA and PL.2012 ahead of Euro 2012, and delegations of 50 and 30 journalists to Warsaw in 2014 and 2019 respectively, under his previous brand Poland Today.
Earlier in his career he was Editor of Eurobuild CEE, and during a second stint with the title - from 2008 to 2012 - he created the Eurobuild Awards, organising the first 3 editions from 2010-2012.
