REICO has appointed Ben Maudling as Managing Director – Investments with effect from 1 August. In the role, he will be responsible for real estate transactions across all four of the company's funds.
Maudling is originally from the United Kingdom and has lived in the Czech Republic since 1992, obtaining Czech citizenship in 2025. He has more than 30 years of experience on the Czech and Central European real estate markets, specialising in real estate investment and valuation. His previous roles include positions at international advisory firms CBRE and Savills, as well as investment companies Palmer Capital and Invesco. Most recently, he oversaw residential real estate investments in the CEE region at investment and development company GARBE Institutional Capital.
At REICO, Maudling will work alongside a four-person internal team and long-standing external partners to handle property acquisitions for the company's real estate funds. The team's focus will cover income-generating commercial properties as well as assets designated for residential, educational, healthcare and social purposes. REICO currently operates in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, with ambitions to expand into additional markets under Maudling's leadership.
Tomáš Jachan will continue in his position as Head of Transactions. The transactions team has also been strengthened by Jan Tůma, CFA, who joins as Transaction Manager from CBRE Investment Management.
