Redkom Development is preparing to begin construction of a retail park in Kalisz, on Aleja Wojska Polskiego. The project involves a comprehensive redevelopment of the former Tesco hypermarket site, a well-known shopping destination in this part of the city.
The location was chosen for both its retail history and its position alongside one of Kalisz's main thoroughfares, close to the XXV-lecia and Dobrzec residential districts, which are home to tens of thousands of residents. Good transport connections are expected to draw visitors from the city and surrounding areas.
"Kalisz is a market with considerable potential, and our project is situated in a well-known location on Aleja Wojska Polskiego. Commercialisation is progressing, so now is a good moment to join the project and secure space," said Sebastian Paciorek, Senior Leasing Manager at Redkom Development.
Tenants that have already confirmed their presence include Lidl, Xtreme Fitness Gyms, Xtreme Kids, Rossmann, Sinsay, Deichmann, TEDi, Pepco, Media Expert and DR Materac. The scheme will offer modern architecture, a spacious car park, pedestrian walkways and ecological solutions, with opening planned for the fourth quarter of 2027.
Redkom Development has delivered approximately 100,000 sqm of retail park space across its portfolio, including BIG Łubna, Ozimska Park and Comfy Park Bydgoszcz. Projects currently under construction include Park Handlowy Świderek in Otwock, a retail and leisure scheme in Lublin, and parks in Białystok and Tarnów, totalling more than 85,000 sqm of gross leasable area.
