Leventer Medical Group has opened Băneasa Tumor Center Hospital at CPI Romania's myhive Victoria Park building in northern Bucharest.
The €30 million investment represents Romania's first medical facility dedicated exclusively to integrated tumor treatment. The hospital began operations after more than four years of design and construction. The facility brings together over 80 experienced physicians across seven centres of competence: diagnosis, dermatology, digestive, hepatobiliary and pancreatic, urology, endocrinology, gynecology and breast health, and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
The hospital spans approximately 10,000 sqm, with plans for a 12,000 sqm expansion. It features a digitalised operating block with six operating rooms, 76 beds including 15 ICU beds and 15 day hospitalisation beds, an outpatient clinic with 18 consultation rooms covering over 20 specialties, and specialised laboratories for pathology, gastroenterology, and medical imaging.
"Medical competence and experience in the patient-centred working model, consolidated within the Dr. Leventer clinics, naturally continue in the Băneasa Tumor Center Hospital project," states Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihaela Leventer, Founder and Shareholder. "We rely on the efficiency of teamwork and invest constantly in people. We have attracted medical professionals with solid experience in complementary fields, forming a remarkable multidisciplinary team."
The hospital operates with medical navigators who coordinate all stages of care, transforming the complexity of treatment into a clear experience for patients.
"We provided Leventer Medical Group with a flexible infrastructure that allowed the organization of hospital flows and facilities in line with the highest medical standards," states Fulga Dinu, Country Manager at CPI Romania.
